Automatic Update for XAMPP

Postby 5dana » 21. October 2010 16:08

Good morning!

Does anyone know if Apache Friends offers automatic update for XAMPP? I need to update my PHP from version 5.3.1 to 5.3.2 to be able to run Symfony 2.0 but I am afraid to update PHP manually because I have other applications installed in the server.

It would be so great if there is an automatic update for any software changes within XAMPP. :)

Thanks,

Dana

No. XAMPP is a solution for development environment. That won't be usefull if your testing environment updates on itself.

Updates of one of the core single components of the XAMPP package is not supported.
You can wait for the next stable release of XAMPP which commonly comes with an update package.
We don't provide any support via personal channels like PM, email, Skype, TeamViewer!
