A latest version of XAMPP 1.7.3 is available in apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html. If you want to run XAMPP 1.7.3, you must install XAMPP basis package and also Add-On packages, but add-on are no need to install because it is a optional. You can also install older version of XAMPP directly form source page.

Unfortunately I need to be able to ftp it down to a specific server in a shell. I donot have direct access to the server and thus cannot physically use a cd, usb drive, and only have shell access. Does Apache Friends have an FTP site I can use?
