Xampp 1.7.3 supports any LDAP server?

Hello, checking phpinfo of xampp we can see that it has ldap support enabled. But it also says (in table named "Ldap") "Vendor Name OpenLDAP". Does it mean just OpenLdap is supported? We would like to use it against a AD Ldap server. Does xampp support this one or to achieve this we should manually build php, apache and mysql with some specific AD library? Thanks for your inputs.

Some time ago I used XAMPP with a Novell LDAP without any problems.
Just try it with your AD...
