Compiling a custom LAMPP

I was trying to locate docs for trying to create custom XAMPP. I'd love to have a complete custom package for our servers but we do not need all that is packaged with current distribution of LAMPP. Also we have some in house packages we'd like to add so that it'll make my life as administrator lot easier and it also ensures minimum downtime during upgrades.

Can anybody help me on this? Thanks.
