I have seen several posts about it and have had no luck with the solutions people have proposed so far, nor did I notice any recent posts about this.
I am running Xampp on a old Toshiba Laptop with PCLinuxOS (KDE) installed.
I was able to successfully install Xampp, and get it to start. However when I try to go to phpMyAdmin I get this error:
- Code: Select all
phpMyAdmin - Error
Cannot start session without errors, please check errors given in your PHP and/or webserver log file and configure your PHP installation properly.
I think it may have to do with permissions because so far I haven't been able to to write to text documents because I get a permissions denied.
A decent amount of the software on this computer runs of mySQL so I don't know if that has an effect on it or not,
Any help with the phpMyAdmin and the writing to text documents problems is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
