I've been using LAMPP (XAMPP) on Ubuntu server for about 1.5 years and it works wonderfully. At this point I'm trying to configure and enable a secured virtual server within the apache module. I have successfully done this in the past on non-xampp configurations but for what ever reason I cannot get the server to respond to the ssl requests.
What is the proper sequence of configuration files read within the startapache procedure? I've tried to follow then via deciphering the script and I seem to have many more files within the etc and other directories than are being used.
Advise? Pointers? greatly appreciated. Thanks
