The splash page at http://localhost/Xampp/index.php no longer displays; after the initial installation I was able to see the splash screen with the menu on the left.
Now I only get the 'It works' which I assume is Ok, but I can redisplay the splash with the menu

I have reinstalled to no avail and

I have done the steps /opt/lampp/lampp security

I hope you can help with this.

I found several apache running. After killing all of them, I now get the splash
