Can't connect to Linux Xampp Apache server, by using Windows

Hi there.

My problem is:
I cannot connect to the site on Linux Xampp Apache server, from a computer with Windows OS (on local network). My Linux distribution is Fedora 11. Did anybody had the same problem? Connecting to 'localhost' from Linux comp. works fine. What can be wrong with this, and how can i check it? Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I try to connect by typing linux-comp ip address in Mozilla Firefox (in address bar - for example - http://192.168.185.101 < it works fine when i type it on linux computer). Also, i checked connection between computers by using Ping command - it seems ok.

How do you try to connect your Apache from the Windows computer?

Do they connect through a router (forwarding port 80 is needed) or firewall?

I tried also this configuration: xampp apache on windows computer, and i tried to connect from linux comp, and it was ok. So maybe the reason is in linux comp configuration. Yes, they're connected through router (wi-fi connection). Where do i have to set port 80 forwarding?

[SOLVED]
By using Gnome Firestarter Firewall, and allowing connection. Thanks for replies (as the issue turned to be a little bit out of xampp/apache subject).
