please excuse my poor language
when i tried to use mysql dump inside mysql program through terminal the program couldnt recognize the command
and when i tried to run mysqldump as a separated program the error 2002 accur
please help me to solve this proplem

"mysqldump" from XAMPP is located at "/opt/lampp/bin".

I guess you mean the error message about a wrong socket?
--> additionally I guess you are using a wrong "mysqldump".
