security passwords

Hi all,

I just installed xampp for linux and did the security check:

sudo /opt/lampp/lampp security

and entered passwords for everything except the ftp option. Trying to go to localhost/phpmyadmin, I am not sure what my username is.. I tried lampp as username but it does not work with my password. It does work when I go to localhost/xampp however. What is wrong?

Nevermind, username was root.

That was dumb.
