What is "/opt/lampp/etc/[" and "/opt/lampp/etc/pan_home ]"

Here's a directory listing of /opt/lampp/etc. I would like to know what the 2 folders "[" and "pan_home ]" are for. They definitely look out of place.

Code: Select all

I found the same thing and was not able to find an explanation on those files. I hope that they are not some malwares.

Nah, I doubt it's any kind of malware, it just looks like there was some kind of minor error when they built the package. XAMPP/Apache friends wouldn't compromise their reputation like that.
