1.7.2 temprorary removed eAccelerator, and dbx ?

Postby bigpcman » 16. August 2009 18:09

In the change log for 1.7.2 I noticed the following:

"New version of PHP (5.3.0), but temprorary removed eAccelerator, and dbx because of missing support for this release of PHP."

Does this mean there will be a 1.7.2a to resolve the eAccelerator and dbx issues relatively soon, or a 1.7.3 release much later. I'm just trying to decide whether to upgrade or not to 1.72.
edit: Looks like Bart is working on the problem. Perhaps php 5.2.9 with eAccelerator 0.9.5.3 would be a better combination.
