xampp doesn't works when internect is disconnected

Postby Mustak » 28. July 2009 10:36

A few days back I jumped from kubuntu-6 to ubuntu-9.04 and I am not able to view the xampp default page when i disconnect internet. When I ping it shows its transfering data. Again when I reconnect internet then it works fine.

Terminal shows:
sudo /opt/lampp/lampp start
Starting XAMPP for Linux 1.7.1...
XAMPP: Starting Apache with SSL (and PHP5)...
XAMPP: Starting MySQL...
XAMPP: Starting ProFTPD...
XAMPP for Linux started.

After disconnecting the internet when i type http://localhost/ i get the error, page not found.

Please help me in resolving this issue.
