I download the file.. and then the archive opens.. (i don't know where the file saves, but an archive comes up)

And then i run the command SU.
And writing in the root password..
and when i'm trying to write this.

tar xvfz xampp-linux-1.7.1.tar.gz -C /opt

the system can't find the xampp-linux-1.7.1.tar.gz installation file.
And if i try to extract it manually, (in the Extract program)
it says that i don't got permission to extract it in that location..
What should i do? :s
save me please..

EDIT: Basically i need to save the installation file so the Terminal can find it.. because it won't find the file if i type in
