XAMPP Localhost Redirect

Postby Anouilh » 14. January 2009 11:50

Hi everyone,

I have just finished installing a fresh version of Ubuntu 8.10 and XAMPP 1.7 without any problem.

My problem comes from the visiting my http://localhost as it will redirect to http://localhost/xampp which is just fine but I want to change the redirect route when you visit http://localhost to go directly to http://localhost/barry instead of the XAMPP folder.

I can't seem to find the file to change the redirect route, can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Thanks in advance!

:)

Thanks for the help Wiedmann!

I have looked into that file and found the following code:

<html>
<head>
<meta name="author" content="Kai Oswald Seidler">
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0;url=/xampp/">
</head>
<body bgcolor=#ffffff>
</body>
</html>

I have tried changing the /xampp/ to a folder with a working website but it keeps directing to /xampp/

Any suggestions? :)

Clear your browser cache.
