¿How to install AWStats?

Hi!

I need install on my lampp server the software "AWStats".

How i can install this software?
At now, I copy the directory /cgi-bin of AWStats to /opt/lampp/cgi-bin but, when i go to access via web to http://localhost/cgi-bin/awstats.pl...(and another variables) the Apache shows me:
"You don't have permission to access /cgi-bin/awstats/ on this server."

I've checked the permissions and it's well (755).
Why it's show me this?
Someone knows the steps to follow for proper installation?
