Xampp + Ubuntu 7.10 problem

Hi,
I install Xampp on Ubuntu, but http://localhost don't show me starting picture 4. Test. Any file (html, php), placed in /opt/lampp/htdocs not work.
http://localhost/phpmyadmin work properly.
Where is a problem?

Nothing! Firefox says: "This is phtml file" and give me 2 options: 1. Open with and 2. Save to disk.

Any idea?

File is index.php (may be). I call it with http://localhost.
