How To Set Locale

I use XAMPP on Mint localhost, everything is great except my store doesn't show decimals. I tried "english-uft-8" in the store's application.php file where you're suppose to, but didn't work. I think you'd have to configure that on the server. Any ideas from the Pro's?

Thanks in advance,

How To Set Locale

I didn't have any problems when I used WAMP. but now that I'm a Linux user noticed that XAMPP doesn't work like the other. I dual boot now for just a few programs like Dreamweaver, Paintshop, and of course IE6 plus a label making 1 for word.

Tomorrow I'll try checking out WAMP's "locales" script & see how it compares to Xampp's. I could also check to see if Cartweaver has a "work around".

Thanks to all the 40 some odd viewers that took time to read my post. whether they knew enough to help out or didn't want to.

Thanks from the bottom of my heart to those.

Now y'all should offer a tutorial about Locales. OH!! scratch that...Gotta have an 1 that knows to write it. Websmoken

This is my 2nd post here without ANY replies. I gave back on 1 of them: http://community.apachefriends.org/f/viewtopic.php?t=30808

Thanks Noobie

I should have thought about looking at their website but was thinking it was specific to XAMPP.
