ProFTP - Simple setup needed.

Im kind of a newbie on these things, but i need a simple and safe setup for this program, i want to be able to write on my files under my server, add and remove files, to move into every of my directories, under a password ofc, no anonymous access or any other accesses, all i need is that only >me< will be able to connect there.
all this should be able to do remotely, through internet, not on localhost.

Can you help me?

Hi, all you have to do is to remove the DefaultRoot-Directive and the complete Anonymous-Block from your proftpd.conf.

Then you should be able to log in with any user that has either /bin/bash or /bin/ftp (a copy of /bin/false) as login shell.
