i have xampp for linux i have on problems how i can add user for FTP ???? of the linux ????


i have linux mode IPCOP

Its very easy.

Every user under Linux can watch his own home-Directory.

So then: Just create users under Linux.


Edit the proftpd.conf (/opt/lampp/etc) and change the

Code: Select all

DefaultRoot /opt/lampp/htdocs

to

Code: Select all

DefaultRoot ~

That change keeps the users in their home-Directory.


I hope you understand what i mean!

I understand the question here and I have the same one. How do you add another user to the FTP feature in lampp? Instead of just the one that is standard install (nobody).
