What about Current Apache

I have a Linux box and would like to use XAMPP on it as I use XAMPP for Windows but my Linux box has some old ColdFusion and Oracle stuff running on the current Apache setup that I cannot take down.

If I install XAMPP will it overwrite and/or effect my current Apache setup, and is there any way to avoid this or any alternative?

FYI, I found that XAMPP will install beside a current Apache setup so you can have one or the other. Just stop your current httpd service and you can start XAMPP Apache with no problems. At least that worked for me!
