101% noob question

After installed xampp under Fedora9 and fixing the problem that all user have when I try to open the test page or any other I get the firefox download window (which I can choose to download the php file or open it). What do I need to do to fix this?

how do u open the test page?

php files should be opened from browser at http://localhost/ address.

if u infect did exactly that, chances are that ur webserver is not running. check to see if the daemon is running
