Hello guys, look this is my problem.
When i put in the terminal the command sudo /opt/lampp/lampp start
downside said:

Starting XAMPP for Linux 1.6.6...
XAMPP: Starting Apache with SSL (and PHP5)...
XAMPP: Another MySQL daemon is already running.
XAMPP: Starting ProFTPD...
XAMPP for Linux started.

All good, but look in the bold text, Xampp said me that other MySQL daemon is already running :?

What can i do?

i tried stopping the all process and restart, reinstall, etc.

Help Please, Thank you-

PD: Sorry for my english

i think u might have another mysql installed and running at the background by default. try to check ur services, easiest way by using the nautilus, and navigate to Administrator>Services (if i remember this correctly) and check if another mysql is checked and running as a service.

hope that might helps
