Document Root problem

Postby LeeMoff » 17. March 2008 14:59

Sorry for the basic question - but I have looked through the Forum, and don't see the answer. I am trying to add pages (html and/or php). Both my DocumentRoot and Directory are set to the default values "/opt/lampp/htdocs". But when I try to browse to "localhost/index.html" for instance, the page "/localhost/xampp/splash.php" keeps coming up. The permissions for both htdocs and htdocs/index.html are set for 0777, so there should be no access problems. What is wrong??

Thanks!
