Hi all,

If I have two domains example1.com.au and example2.com and I wish to point them both to the same webcontent and to always serve up the url example1.com.au what is the best way to do this (to ensure I don't anger search engines etc)

Is it via a .htaccess file or through apache conf?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Kate

There is nothing to do for Apache - the domains simply must point to the same IP.

Do you mean A record? if so the do point to the same IP which is the webserver that hosts many sites so I need to know what to put in the apache conf file. Do I just state one as the server and one as the alias? This results in the domain 'looking different' instead of them both resolving to one url.
