proftpd cannot change password - urgent

When i using lampp command line reset FTP password, after restart the lampp services. The FTP password still not password , please advice how can correct them.

Hi, I got the same problem. After run the command, "lampp security", and reset up the ProFTP password, the new password doesn't work. Still work with the previous one that I have changed once.

So, the ProFTP password ONLY can be change once?
