Error in phpMyAdmin upgrade?

Postby skuipers » 25. December 2007 08:25

I got the same error after upgrading to 1.6.5.

I replaced the new phpMyAdmin by the old one from 1.6.4 (we always make a backup - at least of important files - before upgrading, don't we?) and phpMyAdmin runs again like before the upgrade.

There has definitely been a change somewhere, because the 1.6.5 is just 1085 bytes, while the 1.6.4 configuration file has a size of 51685 bytes.

allenskd: I realise this is no solution for you because you probably do not have a 1.6.4 version of the phpMyAdmin config file! I would suggest to remove 1.6.5 from your system and instead install 1.6.4 for the time being (still available from sourceforge).

Upgrade to 1.6.5a from SourceForge will fix your problem.

There was an issue with 1.6.5 which has now been fixed - see this post. ... 673#112673
