Probably Fedora is already starting an FTP server daemon at boot time and this prevents ProFTPD to run at the same time.

Basically there are two solutions: you use the standard service provided by Fedora, or you go for the XAMPP provided ProFTPD solution. In the latter case you will have to disable the daemon start up at run time. I would suggest to ask in a Fedora forum how to do this.

Thanks Skuipers,

FTP Daemon problem is resolved. Now please tell me, is there any guide or step by step procedure for "How to Host Websites when you have installed XAMPP."
I will be much obliged for any help in this regard.
