I have been using LAMPP (or is it XAMPP for Linux)together with my Asterisk (PBX software) on Debian 4.0. system
After an apt-get upgrade and apt-get update suddenly LAMPP is not my default webserverr anymore.
When I do http://localhost I get IT WORKS (and the address changes to http://localhost/apache2-default/l)

So I a way my system has been messed up.

How can I disable Apache and restore LAMPP is my default webserver ?

I'm not 100% sure about the path names, but on my linux install...

I remove the /etc/rc2.d/httpd file. this tells apache (non xampp) to start.

that should be about it. restart xampp and the xampp web server should then listen on port 80.
