Help configuring (In english)

Hey, I have finally finished installing Xampp, I made a new htdoc folder thats blank, but when I go to my site to view it as site.com/

It takes me to site.com/xampp

But if i view it as an ip Address it goes to the index page. Help appreciated. Thanks.
