Apache crashes with segmentation fault while loading php4

hello everyone

i am using Xampp 1.6.2 with fedora core 7.

i have hosted two applications, one is care2x and the other is weberp.

i am using PHP4

when i first configured xampp it worked fine. i was able to load care2x very well. but next day i restarted the server and since then i am unable to load care2x pages. but weberp is running fine.

i checked the error_log and i find this error:

[Tue Jul 17 17:13:35 2007] [notice] child pid 3202 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)

apache is running fine when i load weberp pages but whenever i load any of the care2x page it crashes.


care2x is using smarty templates and gd module as well.

can some one tell me which direction i should look in order to figure out the problem ???
