error while start mysql server

hi everyone...

i'm using the xampp of linux, the "lampp"...

witch the ubuntu i use without troubles...

but, witch the famelix, another linux distro the mysql server can't start...

the log show this...

070615 22:00:39 mysqld started
070615 22:00:40 [ERROR] Can't start server : Bind on unix socket: Permission denied
070615 22:00:40 [ERROR] Do you already have another mysqld server running on socket: /opt/lampp/var/mysql/mysql.sock ?

someone can help me???

well...

i do this to resolve this problem

chown <myuser> /opt/lampp

but i'am have new problems, and i don't know what is happens...

the error log show this:

but the host.frm is in mysql folder...
