I use xampp and it works fine. I can connect and create databases using the phpmyadmin interface without a problem and can read and write data.

I am designing application that has a web interface for initial data entry to a mysql database and then will use open office base as a report engine and record modification.

The problem is if I connect to the database through odbc or mysql query browser everything is read only.

Any ideas?
