Problem when trying installing ssh2.so

i tried to install ssh2.so
i keep getting error from the server when i'm trying to turn of/on:
PHP Warning: Unknown(): Unable to load dynamic library '/opt/lampp/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20020429/ssh2.so' - /opt/lampp/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20020429/ssh2.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0

on php4 or php5 the same.
i checked the ssh2 version, its ok.
but still can't load it...

can u add a addon for ssh2 or explain me whats wrong or what shall i change?

IMHO the SSH2 extension is not part of the XAMPP package.

You have build this extension by yourself?

- You are using (and have compiled for) PHP4?
- The file "ssh2.so" is in the directory "'/opt/lampp/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20020429"?
- Are all other shared libs also availible ("ldd ssh2.so")?

i didn't use dev pack but i'm going to download it now,
i don't know how to check for which php version i compiled.
yes i had put it on the directory u indicated for.
i didn't understand the last question...

Well, you can't use an extension from another installation in XAMPP:
You have compiled your own extension with XAMPP in the last days?
