Torrentflux can't find mysql client

I installed xammp and everything is working fine. When i attempted to install torrentflux i kept getting errors during installation saying that dbconfig-common couldn't find the mysql-client. I assume this is because it is looking in the default location. How do i tell it that mysql has moved in with lampp?
