How to downgrade XAMPP1.5.5 to 1.5.4a

I upgraded XAMPP1.5.4a to 1.5.5 but I'm facing a lot of PHP-related problems
Is there any way to downgrade it?

Dear heigazen,
as of what I know of the only way to downgrade would be to backup all your data (not using the XAMPP backup!) including databases and do a reinstall from scratch. Please do not forget to backup /opt/lampp/etc.
It should be quite easy to backup and then just reinsert all your data including configuration files.
