I am looking to add a content management section to a production debian server with apache 1.3, MySQL, Java, Tomcat... What I am lookingt to do at this time is to add a content managent section that requires the latest versions of apache, MySQL, PHP... I will be updating the core later but I want to test first. Is ther a way to run the existing apache/MySQL with the addition of the LAMPP? I receive an error message (correctly) that there apache and MySQL is running.
