I'm trying to start Xammp, witch i've copied from my Slackware system (xampp is now running om Debian). When I try to start it, i get this error:

Code: Select all
server:~# /opt/lampp/lampp start
Starting XAMPP for Linux 1.5.1...
PHP Warning:  PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/opt/lampp/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20050922/upload_progress_meter.c' - /opt/lampp/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20050922/upload_progress_meter.c: invalid ELF header in Unknown on line 0
XAMPP: Starting Apache with SSL (and PHP5)...
XAMPP: Error 126! Couldn't start Apache!
XAMPP: Starting diagnose...
XAMPP: Sorry, I've no idea what's going wrong.
XAMPP: Please contact our forum http://community.apachefriends.org/f/
XAMPP: Starting MySQL...
XAMPP: XAMPP-ProFTPD is already running.
XAMPP for Linux started.

What is wrong?

I'm running a Debian whit the this kernel:

Code: Select all
Linux server 2.6.16-2-686 #1 Sat Jul 15 21:59:21 UTC 2006 i686 GNU/Linux

I used this command to get the kernel info.

Code: Select all
uname -a

Over and out :D

EDIT:
I've fix the ming.so drives but even if the dbx.so file is in the right place I get errors.

Code: Select all
PHP Warning:  PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/opt/lampp/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20050922/dbx.so' - /opt/lampp/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20050922/dbx.so: undefined symbol: empty_string in Unknown on line 0
PHP Warning:  Module 'ming' already loaded in Unknown on line 0

No one who knows?

I fix the dbx.so modules but now xampp is asking for sqlite.so

Code: Select all
PHP Warning:  PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/opt/lampp/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20050922/sqlite.so' - /opt/lampp/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20050922/sqlite.so: undefined symbol: zend_object_std_init in Unknown on line 0

Why do I get all this errors?

Same problem

Hi, I've got the same error on my debian Sarge with clean installation.
It seems that no one knows why we get this error.

I'm trying to watch Apache logs.
I'll help you if I discover somehow.
Cheers
Zack
