Macromedia Flash Server

Postby SteffJay1 » 11. June 2006 23:32

Hello all. I am running XAMPP on a RedHat Enterprise 4 Linux system. It is running very well. The only problem i have is that i want to run a flaschat program (which is installed and running) and the Flash server is also installed and running. The problem is that it is not detecting any connections from the chat program. The flash server has been installed into the www/section so that remote admin can be done (which also works). All the ports are configured on the router and both are working. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

are you not getting the connections or are they not detected?

check /etc/sysconfig/iptables to make sure that your allowing connections to the port that FlashServer uses.

then
# service iptables restart

you'll need to be root to do that.
