Problems with the Linux version of XAMPP, questions, comments, and anything related.

Saw the howto in the faq on how to activate eaccelerator, I understand it's a php accelerator but I guess it also mean more ressources used.

I am hosting a wordpress blog with Xampp on a machine running SuSE, I am not sure if in my case it's worth enabling eaccelerator or not.

Also if I decide to activate it do I only have to follow the faq howto or are there other steps involved?

Do not try to install eaccelerator when using PHP 5.1. The current version of eaccelerator does not support PHP 5.
