Hi Nikom,
FYI, Active Server Pages (ASP) is a Windows world.
Personally, I finished up building up an old P3 box to Linux (Fedora Core 4) as a server and connected it, via router, to winXp box(es).
While dual booting is an option, I reckon dual boxes is better if you can.

However:
I did read somewhere that there exists a ChiliSoft asp (or something) from ??Sun?? but never really tried it.

I also found a utility called asp2php (code converter) once upon a time
http://www.mikekohn.net/... but gave up.... I generally now develop in PHP or Ruby-On-Rails (aside form Joomla! CMS sites) from here on... While still maintaining a couple of client ASP sites on a Windows Hosting service.

Good luck with the transition.

Regards,
