Well i am using fedora 4 and installed xampp1.5 and i got the following errors

Starting XAMPP for Linux 1.5.0...
/opt/lampp/bin/php: error while loading shared libraries: /opt/lampp/lib/mysql/libmysqlclient.so.15: cannot restore segment prot after reloc: Permission denied
XAMPP: Starting Apache with SSL ...
XAMPP: Error 1! Couldn't start Apache!

XAMPP: Error 127! Couln't start ProFTPD!
XAMPP for Linux started.

can anyone help me plz..

reinstalling the XAMPP is a good idea!
Before do that, you should uninstall the XAMPP follow the instruction of the www.apachefriends.org gived.

I've tried reinstalling Xampp by first unistaling it and i still get the same error messages.....

is there anything i can do....

by the way on fedora 4...i wanted to know what php and mysql versions are on the installation cd....

is there anyways to upgrade tp php5 and mysql version that is integrated with mysqli extension...

am trying alternatives to Xampp 1.5...but still can anyone help mee with that one Fedora 4....
