using : RH EL 4 AS, XAMPP 1.5, firefox & konqueror

header("WWW-Authenticate : Basic realm='authentification'");

doesn't work, nothing happens.


Is there any Apache configuration (or another one) to change ?

No, there are no special configurations neccessary. But remove the blank before the colon:
