Today I discovered that mysql server is not running, but when I start lampp it says "XAMPP: Starting MySQL...". What do I have to do to solve this problem? Thax.

I see in the mysql error log that the server can't start because it can access some files:

mysqld started
[ERROR] /opt/lampp/sbin/mysqld: Can't find file: './mysql/host.frm' (errno: 13)
[ERROR] /opt/lampp/sbin/mysqld: Can't find file: './mysql/host.frm' (errno: 13)
[ERROR] Fatal error: Can't open and lock privilege tables: Can't find file: './mysql/host.frm' (errno: 13)
mysqld ended

Where is this file? Why can't the mysqld acces this file?

Someone have delete a neccessary system table. So your mysqld can't work.

Replace the tables from your backup.
