Runing XAMPP on 2x133mhz 64ram amd scsi hard discs

i am going to run slackware linux on it. is it works well?
PS: i am not underestand is menaging in linux graphical or not, i look screenshoots and not underestand nothing
can somewone explain me?
how is with putty. i going to have server first time, but i have expirience with slackware.
