Hi,
I'm sorry for writing in english, but I really can't undestand german.

So, my problem is that I forgot my root password. Can any body tell me how to start the mysql deamon with the --skip-grant-tables option?

Well, i can find a mysql deamon at all on the system. I am using XAMPP for Linux 1.4.13 . I really have to recover it ot change it fast.
