No luck trying to get into http://localhost/phpmyadmin or http://localhost/xampp; bad user name or passwrod. I have tried to run /opt/lampp/lampp/ security to reset the password and I still cannot get in. Is there a back door to get into XAMPP or PHPMYADMIN and reset the password?

remove the .htaccess file in htdocs and in /opt/lampp/phpmyadmin

Only from "/usr/bin/" to "/opt/lampp/bin/" thats its.

Or use
/opt/lampp/lampp wizard

with the key "bluesky"

I removed and reinstalled xampp. Everthing went back to normal.
