Hi,
I'm trying to install XAMPP on SuSe 9.3 ES 64bit version. After I install and start lampp, I get the folwoing error,
/bin/bash: error while loading shared libraries: /opt/lampp/lib/libncurses.so.5: ELF file data encoding not big-endian
Any ideas and thoughts?

An another insight into the problem. After starting lammp, I did a ps -ef | grep httpd and found a process. When I tried to kill this process I got the following messages,
[FONT=courier new]
XAMPP: Error 137! Couldn't start Apache!
XAMPP: Starting diadnose...
XAMPP: Sorry, I've no idea what's going wrong.
XAMPP: Please contact our forum http://community.apachefriends.org/f/
XAMPP: XAMPP-MySQL is already running.
XAMPP: Starting ProFTPD...
XAMPP for Linux started

Looks like Apache for some reason is not starting up. Any insights?
