Apache Friends Support Forum

I had been trying for hours to get php5 and apache2 and mysql4 or 5a compiled and running on an old redhat box. I stumbled across xampp by accident. I downloaded, installed, and had xammp running in less than 30 minutes. I could have done it faster, but I couldn't get my original apache to shut down nicely because of a screwed up .conf file

Great job to everyone on apachefriends team!

Next I will try the pgsql add on.
