I am running a redhat fedora core 3 machine with XAMPP installed on it. I want to use the crack() fuction from cracklib. I can't seem to install in on the XAMPP installation. I tryed running my configure line from my phpinfo() with the line "--with-crack=Dir of crack files". I have another webserver that came with redhat installed though not running and cracklib does appear to be installed already. When I try to run any of the rpm packages is yells at me that it is already installed.
When I tryed to run pear install crack from the xampp dir I got this error:
